We all belong to the forest.

When I arrived in Polonnaruwa, after two weeks in Colombo, I found myself dipped in dense vegetation.

I’ve learnt very quickly to live in synchrony with nature, slowing down my pace and relying more on my senses which were overwhelmed by the discharges of energy released by the forest and inhaled at every breathe.

Here, you feel every element is animated by a soul and must receive respect for its vital role in this universal home: the forest. You feel your nourishment comes from air, water and earth which produces harmony all around you.

What in a mechanized-productive based system would be perceived as losing time, here gains the taste of freedom.

Admiring the beauty of life is what we’ve lost by accepting the predominant model and rhythm of progress.

other pics will soon be added.

  1. “””What in a mechanized-productive based system would be perceived as losing time, here gains the taste of freedom.””” Magnifico, come il tuo sguardo sui paesaggi. Persisto in un’incrollabile ammirazione 🙂
