Sofa culture in Middle East – Occupied Palestinian Territories

The “Sofa Culture” project has arrived also in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

If sofas in Cairo are conceived as commonly used facilities placed in public spaces and absorbed by the city by becoming integral elements of the urban environment. In the Occupied Palestinian Territories they assume a more reserved dimension bound to the family sphere.

  1. I like this sofa culture of the middle east!! smoking shisha, playing chess and having some tea… 🙂 though some of the sofas in this gallery don’t look quite inviting… 😉
